About This Project
Resin-bound driveway on an existing sound tarmac base. Large detached property in Malahide village area. Golden gravel aggregate on sound existing tarmac — no new base required.
The Challenge
Existing tarmac was 8 years old and structurally sound but faded and stained. Customer wanted a premium finish with no drainage issues.
Our Solution
Full assessment confirmed tarmac base was suitable for direct resin application. Edge restraints fitted. UV-stable polyurethane resin with 2–5mm golden gravel blend applied at 18mm depth. Feature banding in contrasting dark basalt at perimeter.
