About This Project
Tarmac driveway replacement on a detached house in Rathbeale Road area of Swords. Old failing tarmac removed, sub-base repaired in two soft areas, new base course and wearing course laid.
The Challenge
Original tarmac was 20+ years old with significant edge fraying and two sunken areas. Quick start requested.
Our Solution
Full existing surface removal. Sub-base repair in soft areas. New 100mm compacted sub-base throughout, 50mm base course, 35mm AC10 wearing course. Concrete block kerb at road edge. Completed in 2 days.
